The CROSS™ is a semi-rigid knee orthosis for hyperextension control. This knee orthosis was designed to work in conjunction with other orthotic devices and therefore has no straps or buckles that intervene.

The cross straps on the back stabilize knee hyperextension and the unique design of this knee brace makes it easy to put on and take off using only one hand. The upper cuff of the brace is reinforced so that remains open wide enough to allow the foot and leg slide easily into the brace. The soft inner allows the CROSS knee orthosis to glide easily over the foot, up over the knee into place. The orthosis has an ultra-smooth low friction liner with no visible seams to prevent any skin irritation. The “donning aid” further assists users to pull it up on the leg. A well placed silicone band then maintains the placement of the orthosis ensuring it does not slide downward. The CROSS™ knee orthosis also has adjustable ROM stops.

Indications

The CROSS™ is a semi-rigid knee orthosis is intended for those with mild to moderate knee hyperextension due to neuromuscular diseases or other injuries. The CROSS™ knee brace can also be used in conjunction with foot and ankle orthotics if foot drop is also present.
