The SPIO Classic TLSO and Lumbar Sacral Orthosis are orthotic devices made for the torso and abdomen respectively. The Classic TLSO aids with shoulder/trunk and hip stability, postural control, balance, coordination, and increased body awareness making it the ideal orthosis for those with Hypotonia, Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, Muscular Atrophy, Athetosis, and Sensory Processing Disorder. The Lumbar Sacral Orthosis on the other hand is a pelvic belt type orthosis used in cases of Severe Axial Hypotonia, Athetoid Quadriplegia, Spinal Muscular Atrophy, or Benign Anterior Horn Cell Disease to address poor core muscle activation, stabilization or weakness.
