The SPIO Wrist Hand Orthosis and Arm Orthosis are external glove-like devices that can be worn to support or improve the function of the wrist and hand, or the entire arm. Wrist and hand orthotics as well as arm orthotics can be both corrective and supporting, assisting with fine motor control, increased stability, coordination, decreased hypersensitivity, and sensory awareness in the hand, wrist and/or arm. The hand and wrist orthotic device is ideal for those suffering from Hemiplegia, Athetoid or Spastic Quadriplegia, Rett Syndrome, Angelman Syndrome, Autism, and Sensory Processing Disorder, while the arm sleeve is ideal for those with Hemiplegia, Brachial Plexus injury, Cerebral Palsy, and Sensory Processing Disorder.
