The SPIO also has a Core-Max range which is made up of various custom and tailored orthotic devices. The Core-Max range includes the Quest, which is a trunk orthotic device that extends from the hips to the shoulders with a para-spinal rigid stay to assists patients with poor core muscle activation, balance, coordination, or weakness. The Expedition is another orthosis from the Core-Max range, which is a lightweight and versatile paediatric torso orthosis with a rigid posterior trunk support system. Finally, the Odyssey from the Core-Max range is a lightweight paediatric TLSO that includes a thoraco-lumbar, aquaplast back panel providing postural/spinal support while allowing for the development of core strength.
